How do I prepare for my face lift?
Patients should stop all medications that can increase bleeding. Ask our plastic surgery team for more information. Patients should arrange someone to stay with them for at least a few days to help with taking medications and maintaining adequate hydration and nutrition.
Recovering after your Rhinoplasty / Nose Reshaping
Our Jacksonville facial plastic surgery team will help ensure a rapid recovery. The procedure is under sedation or general anesthesia and patients are asked to wear a nasal splint for approximately 7-10 days. Some bruising does occur around the nose and eyes, but this resolves within a few weeks. As the swelling resolves, you will see the new and improved you. Some minor swelling typically takes several months to completely resolve.
